The Strand Theatre is located at 345 Main Street (US Route 1) in the center of downtown Rockland, Maine
Free parking is located nearby in the Winter Street public lot or on the street (note: on street parking is limited to 2 hours before 6pm).
Performers may unload at our loading dock behind the theatre on Winter Street, and will be directed to nearby parking. (There is no parking at the loading area.)
Driving Directions:
FROM POINTS SOUTH: Take I-95 North just past Portland to Exit 52 (I-295 North/Falmouth/US-1/Freeport). Continue on I-295 North to Exit 28 (Coastal Route 1/Bath/Brunswick). Follow Route 1 to Rockland (approx. 1hr 10 min). Once in Rockland, take a left onto Main Street. (All traffic heading North on Route 1 also turns left on Main Street.) The theatre is two blocks on your right.
FROM POINTS NORTH:Follow Route 1 south into Rockland. The road splits to two one-way streets when you reach Main Street (just after Dunkin' Donuts). Route 1 South will take you onto Union Street. Stay on Union and go straight through the first set of traffic lights. Stay in the left lane. At the next set of lights take a left onto Park Street. At the next light (1 block), take another left onto Main Street (Route 1 North). The theatre is two blocks on your right.
FROM POINTS IN CENTRAL MAINE: Take Route 17 from Augusta into Rockland. Once in Rockland, go straight through your first set of lights at Old County Road. At the next light, take a right onto North Main Street. At your next light, take a right onto Broadway. Follow Broadway to Park Street (Route 1). Take a left onto Park. Go straight. At the second set of lights, take a left onto Main Street. The theatre is two blocks on your right.
