Decoration, Ancient and Modern: Jayne Design Studio’s Contemporary Interior Decoration

Traditional decor for contemporary people. Noted decorator Thomas Jayne, who recently delivered the keynote lecture at the 52nd Annual Delaware Antiques Show benefiting Winterthur - one of the most important cultural institutions in America - will speak at The Strand Theater in Rockland, Maine, on July 14, 2016, benefiting Knox Museum. Author of American Decoration and The Finest Rooms in America, Jayne pursued fellowships at the American Wing of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Historic Deerfield, and J. Paul Getty Museum; apprenticed with Albert Hadley and Sister Parish; and worked at Christie’s before establishing Jayne Design Studio, currently celebrating its 25th anniversary. Mr. Jayne maintains residences in New York and in New Orleans, and has just been named to Architectural Digest's list of the world’s preeminent architects and designers, the AD100.

Both of Mr. Jayne’s books will be for sale in the Strand lobby, with the author available to personally inscribe. FMI call Knox Museum at 354-8062.
