The first inaugural Justice Scholar Strategy Network Showcase will be hosted on November 5 by the Strand Theatre. The evening is open to the public and will consist of a mix of performance and information brought to you by those with lived experience in the justice system. For those attending in person, there will be a welcome and registration time from 6-6:30 pm, and the event will start at 6:30 pm. The online event will start at 6:30 pm and a Zoom link will be provided upon registration. This event is hosted and co-designed in partnership with the Opportunity Scholars of the University of Southern Maine, the Maine Prisoner Advocacy Coalition, the University of Maine Augusta Prison Education Partnership, and Freedom & Captivity.
This event is part of a statewide project called Freedom and Captivity.
