Filmed Locally. Special Free Screening!

The coming-of-age tale of KYLE WATERMAN, an island fisherman's son born in the shadows of his father's fishing boat, incarcerated by a merciless sea that claimed the life of his only brother. With a growing sense of isolation, he must face his fears, protect his secrets, and negotiate a grieving father's unyielding demands for tradition -- to pursue dreams that wait beyond the tides. And it all comes down to a single act of courage. On a rocky bluff above the sea. To become a man.

A very special, not-for-profit screening offered to the communities and people who helped make this film a reality. This showing offers a unique, pre-film-festival-circuit glimpse into a movie that truly represents one of the most authentic independent film production events in America today. Filmed in Rockland, Owls Head, Thomaston, South Thomaston, Vinalhaven, Cushing and Monhegan, the movie recently completed all post production phases in April. A question and answer session will follow the screening with the director, producers and possible guest appearance from members of the cast.
