THE FRENCH DISPATCH is a weekly report on world politics, the arts, fashion, cuisine, and human-interest stories. When its Editor-in-Chief dies, the editorial staff decides to publish a last, memorial edition highlighting the three best stories from the last decade. The stories involve an artist sentenced to life imprisonment for a double homicide, student riots, and a kidnapping resolved by a chef.
