National Theatre's PETER PAN

Captured-Live broadcast from the UK!

All children, except one, grow up…

A captured live performance of JM Barrie’s much-loved tale! Sally Cookson (NT Live: Jane Eyre) directs a production that is edgy, bold, and different; her wonderfully inventive playfulness reinforces the hero’s devotion to fun and games but remains true to the melancholy spirit of JM Barrie’s play.

When Peter Pan, leader of the Lost Boys, loses his shadow, headstrong Wendy helps him to reattach it. In return, she is invited to Neverland, where Tinker Bell the fairy, Tiger Lily and the vengeful Captain Hook await. A riot of magic, music and make-believe ensues.

A co-production with Bristol Old Vic theatre.

Recommended for ages 10 and up.

Running time: 2 hours 58 min, including one intermission
