Strand Family Series

The STEMusic Concert is a high energy concert full of songs and lessons all about STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, & Math)! Watch live experiments, practice solving math problems and learn STEM vocabulary all while being entertained with incredible music. The GRAMMY-nominated Roy Moye III, "The Singing Engineer", presents  a thoroughly engaging show with live singing and audience participation. You'll  be transported to a STEM universe by the rhythms and harmonies of songs that will begin to change the narrative on how you view and learn about STEM!


The Strand Family Series will include four shows this spring, all with our Pay-What-You-Can Ticketing! Each show will have a limited capacity in-person audience (75 people, or 22%) with general admission seating; AND a livestream option.

About the Artist

Roy Moye III is a dynamic singer, aerospace engineer, and the founder of STEMusic LLC. He earned his bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering from Wichita State University and has worked in the aerospace industry for the past 7 years. As an accomplished singer, he has sung multiple National Anthems for professional sports teams and even shared the stage in 2017 with rapper Common while singing the chorus to the Oscar Award Winning song "Glory". In the spring of 2019, he was a top 20 finalist on the nationally televised BET gospel singing competition "Sunday Best".

Most recently, Roy and his fellow group mates of "1 Tribe Collective" received a Grammy Nomination for their Children's Music Album "All One Tribe". Along with Children's music, Roy has a passion for serving youth in his hometown of Wichita Kansas where he volunteers as a mentor in the organization Real Men Real Heroes. He is uniquely gifted and recently combined all of his gifts, talents, and abilities to launch his company STEMusic LLC in the fall of 2019. The mission of STEMusic is to inspire the next generation of multicultural STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) professionals through engaging and entertaining music. Roy thoroughly enjoys making this music that teaches students about STEM right where they are. He believes the children are the future and is fully invested in making sure that future is bright.
