Please join AIO for a film premiere celebrating our 35th anniversary and a discussion on the changing landscape of food insecurity locally and across Maine

AIO has been supporting residents of Knox County with food and energy assistance for 35 years. With recent federal budget cuts for SNAP, Medicaid, and support for Maine’s Healthy Meals program, and a reduction in TEFAP and the elimination of the LPFA25 support for small local farms, AIO faces a perfect storm of increased demand and reduced supply.

We are working with community partners to prepare for this “storm.” This isn’t the first, nor will it be the last AIO faces. Please join us for this discussion to consider how to better prepare and be ready for these challenging times.

The event is free and open to the community. An RSVP is appreciated but not required.
