In the heart of Paris, Dr. Lilian Steiner is a “creature of habit” with a dangerous obsession for the truth. While she records her patients’ secrets on vintage MiniDiscs, she keeps her own heart under lock and key, estranged from her son and her ex-husband.

But when a patient’s “accidental” overdose reeks of foul play, Lilian’s professional detachment snaps. She launches a rogue investigation that leads her far from her cold remove and into a labyrinth of generational trauma in Paris’s Jewish community. Hitchcock fans will appreciate this as a loving tribute to the master of suspense.
