A junior publisher’s emissary from New York is sent to visit the reclusive, misanthropic crime novelist Patricia Highsmith in the Swiss Alps to convince her to write one final installment in her legendary Tom Ripley book series. When Highsmith initially refuses, she proposes a sinister challenge: she will write the novel if Edward can successfully plot and present the details of the perfect murder right in front of her, blurring the lines between reality and fiction.
“A Talent for Murder has a rough-textured feel, all saturated colors, that feels properly timed for release during the spooky season. Watching it gives a sensation akin to curling up under a cozy crocheted blanket with a novel and a hot toddy nearby.” – NY Times
