Conversation Series

This series pairs film screenings with insightful conversations with local personalities of note; we’ll ask bestselling authors, film directors, and entrepreneurs to choose their favorite or most impactful films and share with us why these films were so influential or intriguing for them.

Drawing from the Criterion Closet, the classic film canon, and beyond, this series provides fresh insight, cultural conversations, and local excitement.

This locally grown series has included:

  • Six time Academy Award nominated film maker Todd Field introducing The Battle of Algiers

  • Annemarie Ahearn, author and founder of Salt Water Farm Cooking School introducing Babette’s Feast

  • International best-selling author Tess Gerritsen introducing Hitchcock’s Rear Window
